Inspired by the interplay of color and texture in the gardens at Giverny, Giverny Design provides creative vision and chic floral designs for weddings, parties, and special events.
Margaret’s passion for the arts started at a young age, and was expressed through music, dance, and painting. It was initially through painting that her love affair with flowers blossomed. However, after an inspiring trip to Paris, Margaret decided to explore the art of floral design.
In 2012, she apprenticed under Laura Dowling at an influential flower shop in Washington, DC to study arrangements in the “New Garden Style.” Following her experience in Washington, DC, Margaret and her husband returned to their hometown, New Orleans, where she founded Giverny Design in 2013. Most recently, Margaret and her family (husband + three children and a dachshund) relocated to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2020, where she continues to hone her craft.
With an artistic eye and natural aesthetic, Margaret’s floral designs have graced some of the most prestigious homes in the country. Additionally, she has an extensive background in planning and executing special events in both the public and private sector.
Margaret’s work has been seen on HGTV and PBS, and in House Beautiful, Southern Living, Southern Home, Flower Magazine- Home & Lifestyle, Style Me Pretty, St. Charles Avenue Magazine, and The Advocate.
