Earlier this year, I had the pleasure of designing a fabulous wedding at the New Orleans Country Club, with the ceremony at St. Charles Presbyterian Church. Held right after the holidays, we wanted the event to have a lush, garden feel and to quote the bride, Betsy, “bring the outdoors in!”
To achieve this look, we hung floating garland in the main ballroom of the club and draped the door frames in that room. Additionally, we created curly willow armatures that were reminiscent of trees, and placed them on top of farm tables in one of the dining rooms. In the other dining room, we had urns of curly willow, accented by freesia, and a grand floral arrangement composed in a bespoke botanical container.

I loved designing this wedding; from the spring floral palette to the personalized details, this was an event to remember!
